The preparation of the 3rd International Conference organized by the Economic Chamber of Greece comes at a time that Greece faces a series of challenges that need to be surpassed in order to be led to economic growth. In the meanwhile, Europe is facing the challenge of a significant exit, which threatens to unfold surprising developments for the European Union. Sixty-nine years post the Schuman Declaration, which was intended to ensure unity in Europe, this year’s Europe Day will arrive with a large question mark for the future of the European Union.
During the conference, our distinguished speakers will provide valuable insights on the steps the country needs to take moving forward. How will the implementation of reforms affect market access? What is the role of the banking system in economic growth? How crucial are investments in the recovery process? Is the European Union destined for further integration or will Euroscepticism prevail?
All the above mentioned questions will be answered in a conference entitled «The Greek Economy: Investments, the banking sector and market access», which will take place on Europe Day, Thursday, May 9th 2019, at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC).
