The top cultural meeting of the Academy of the Scala Theater in Milan at the historic Apollon Theater takes place on November 11, 2021, 157 years after the first opera Rigoletto by Giuseppe Verdi at the opening of the Apollo Theater (1864).
It is a co-organization of the Municipality of Syros- Ermoupolis and the Italian Educational Institute in Athens, with the support of the South Aegean Region and the Italian Embassy in Greece, taking on an anniversary character, in the context of the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution.
This great artistic event with the excellent artists of the academy, Noemi Muschetti soprano, Paolo Antonio Nevi tenor, Paul Grant baritone Athanasios Papaisiou piano, who take part in the main performances of the La Scala Theater in Milan, is a historical and cultural milestone for Syros, aspiring to develop strong ties between the two brilliant lyric theaters.
