Discover the impact of the EU Space Programme technologies on the shipping industry.

The European Union has been investing in new technologies to support its maritime policies and stimulate a sustainable blue economy at a European but also an international level. Many of these new technologies rely on data and services generated by the EU Space Programme and its systems: namely Galileo, EGNOS, and Copernicus.

Isalos.net is organizing the Pytheas Maritime Space Forum, a three-day summer camp, in Athens, Greece for students and young professionals across Europe to showcase the role that satellite technologies play in supporting safety at sea, optimizing navigation performance, and protecting the oceans.

As a part of the of the forum, Isalos.net is holding conference entitled Transforming the EU Maritime industry with the power of the EU Space Programme on Friday, 15th July 2022 from 10:00 to 13:00 at the Eugenides Foundation (11, Pendelis str., Palaio Faliro).
